Supporting September

THIS SEPTEMBER, ACCESS IS PROUDLY SUPPORTING THE CEREBRAL PALSY ALLIANCE, BY COMPETING IN THE STEPTEMBER CAMPAIGN!

Have you heard of Cerebral Palsy?

  • It is a physical disability that affects movement and posture.

  • It is the most common physical disability in childhood.

  • 1 in 2 people with Cerebral Palsy are in chronic pain due to the tightening of their muscles.

  • Many with Cerebral Palsy will never be able to take a single step without assistance.

If you wish to find out more about those living with Cerebral Palsy, please visit the Cerebral Palsy Alliance website.

And have you heard about STEPTEMBER??

From the 2nd September, each team member will endeavor to walk at least 10,000 steps per day, for all of September. To help us keep stepping, we will also be wearing runners as a part of our uniform.

To stay motivated throughout the month and keep stepping those 10,000 steps, each team member is raising funds towards this worthy cause.

Furthermore, there are 2 Access teams; a boys’ and a girls’ team! This is proving to spark some friendly rival competition within the office environment. Each team is aiming to raise $1000.

Throughout Steptember we will be holding a series of small events and activities to raise money for those with Cerebral Palsy. We will update the site with our activities, so stay tuned!
